Accreditation and Approval Oikos University is a member of the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS), [15935 Forest Road, Forest, VA 24551; Telephone: (434) 525-9539; e-mail: info@tracs.org] having been awarded Candidate Status as Category IV instituion by the TRACS Accreditation Commission on April 9, 2013. This Status is effective for a period of up to five years. TRACS is recognized by the United States Department of Education, the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, and the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE). Oikos University is approved by Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE: 2535 Capitol Oaks Drive, Suite 400, Sacramento, CA 95833, 888-370-7589) to award the following degrees: Associate of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies, Bachelor of Music, Doctor of Ministry, Master of Divinity, Master of Music, Master of Science in Asian Medicine. OU's LVN program currently has provisional approval from the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT: 535 Capitol Oaks Drive, Suite 205, Sacramento, CA 95833, 916-263-7800).
